Samsung Galaxy S5 to come bundled with $500 of freebies

Samsung Galaxy S5 to come bundled with 0 of freebiesSamsung is utterly dominant in the smartphone arena at present, but the South Koreans are taking no chances with the imminent Galaxy S5 flagship.

Rumour has it Samsung Galaxy S5 price might come in lower than that of the Galaxy S4 at launch, and now we’re hearing – officially – that it’ll come bundled with freebies in the amount of $500.

That’s the story over on Samsung Galaxy Gifts, an official site detailing the various Samsung Galaxy S5 freebies.

Individual values range from $2 credit for a free download of Flick Dat (for sharing contacts), to a 6-month subscription for The Wall Street Journal worth a meaty $160.

With fitness being a key feature of the Samsung Galaxy S5, it’s no surprise to see a year-long subscription to RunKeeper worth $20, and 12 months of free Lark action, which would otherwise cost $36.

Somewhat confusingly, the Samsung Galaxy S5 freebies are listed on the global Samsung site, but the promotion seems to be very much specific to our transatlantic cousins in the US.

Hopefully we’ll see something similar in the UK when the Samsung Galaxy S5 arrives on April 11.

Samsung Galaxy S5 specs include a 5in 1080p display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 16MP rear camera, IP67-certified resistance to water and dust, and a fingerprint scanner.

Ok My first point is. I'm not sure.Wall street journal, ? Worst paper ever, I'm including the sun here. A lot of other rubbish apps which should be free anyway. I'm not sure what rubbish they might try over here. Maybe an Amazon style heres a video streaming thing which you don't want but pay 20 quid more for your deliveries. Ps i'm not a samsung fan! even if though, ****!
