Anyone getting a Samsung Galaxy S5 today?

I love how this is a mobile phone forum, but all the regular uses just seem to slate everything apart from the Moto G.

Every phone has it's strengths and weaknesses. Samsung biggest weakness is their software. No £500 phone should be rooted and re-imaged before use. Standard Android stock apps are better than what Samsung ships.
This one is rather subjective, but it looks like a shiny shovel. :p

Naa, don't need oversized iPhone 3
They should really improve on design by now.

Or 5 Moto G :p
Or 1 Moto G, then Moto G + 1 later and still save money

I'm not going to start lying and pretending I don't now think that £500 phones are a total and utter wasteful rip off. I love technology and I think the Moto G is one of the best devices that's been released in a very long time. It was an eye opening device, it showed than a genuinely pleasant smartphone experience could be had for very little outlay. Two years ago it would have been a direct competitor to the flagship Samsung Galaxy S3, now it's available for £100; around half what an S3 is available for, despite being 2 years old.

Only in the context of value for money, as far as I can tell.
I 'love' a couple of Lumias, and a handful of other phones....

I'll always respect the S2 for absolutely wiping the floor with every other phone released around the same time.

Nope, I'm happy with my LG G Pro 2.

Wicked phone.
