You might remember the Samsung Galaxy S5 came bundled with $500 of freebies last year, and this year Galaxy S6 adopters will get a ship-ton of free apps and subscriptions, too.
A list of 22 free ‘Galaxy Gifts’ has been revealed as we patiently await the Samsung Galaxy S6 release on April 10.
To be clear, these 22 apps are available for free, but won’t come pre-installed on the Galaxy S6. Samsung will instead make them optional free downloads.
Highlights include subscriptions to NYTimes and The Economist, while Galaxy S6 owners can enjoy free premium Shazam, too.
Here, courtesy of SammyHub, is the list of Samsung Galaxy S6 Galaxy Gifts in full:
- Pac-Man Friends
- The Hobbit: Kingdoms
- Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs
- The Economist
- Kindle for Samsung
- Workout Trainer
- Parallels Access
- Hancom Office
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S6 ships with a Microsoft Apps folder on the homescreen, including Skype, OneDrive and OneNote, with 115GB of free OneDrive storage.
It’s not yet clear, however, if the rumoured free Office 365 subscription is included.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 was launched on Sunday at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015, with highlights including a glass and metal design, QHD resolution, and 16MP rear camera with optical image stabilisation.
