Is there no end to Samsung’s Android-rockin’ Galaxy range? No. No there is not. Got room in your brains for another two? Sure you do.
It was earlier today that Martin scribbled about the Samsung Galaxy Ace 3; I’m tasked with telling y’all about the Samsung Galaxy Star and Galaxy Pocket Neo.
As if Samsung’s burgeoning Galaxy range wasn’t confusing enough (I doubt even JK Shin could name them all), there’s almost nothing to separate the Samsung Galaxy Star and Galaxy Pocket Neo.
Indeed, one of the very few differences on the spec sheets is the Samsung Galaxy Star’s 1GHz processor, with the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo powered along by a slightly more modest 850MHz unit.
Shared specs include a 3in display (240 x 320), 4GB internal storage (with microSD), 512MB of RAM, Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.2), dual-SIM compatibility in select markets, a 1,200mAh battery, and 2MP rear camera (nothing on the front, unfortunately).
Exact release dates and pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Star and Galaxy Pocket Neo remain a mystery at this stage, though they’re expected within weeks as opposed to, like, months.
