Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.8 launching soon?

Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.8 launching soon?Various documents have been made public thanks to the Apple vs. Samsung patent wars, and one such document apparently confirms the rumoured Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.8.

With a massive display and suggested 2560 x 1600 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 11.8 is sure to raise a few eyebrows (and melt a few eyes). But when can we expect it?

Well, Samsung has promised a “major” product announcement on August 15. However, as I was saying the other day, that’s almost certainly the revamped Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.

There’s also IFA in Berlin at the end of the month, and the industry is expecting Samsung to make the Galaxy Note 2 official (just getting in before the iPhone 5 launch).

However, might we see the Samsung Galaxy Note 11.8 in Berlin too? Well, it’s a possibility. Earlier this week we heard that Samsung’s Exynos 5 Dual is ready to rock, and it supports resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600.

In any case, Samsung is clearly sticking to its “one size doesn’t fit all” policy, with no less than 293 new devices having launched this year.

If Sammy & Co had developed a tab less each, they could have used the saved resources to get some must-have Android tablet apps developped.
As it is, I still cannot see a reason to purchase an Android tab. I'd rather shell out for
an iPad or, gulp, a Surface tbh.
But I'd rather rather just save my money.

And spend it on obscure phones that no one else wants...
