When is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus not a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus? When it’s a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0

When is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus not a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus? When it’s a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0Even impossible-to-please Jan raised an eyebrow at our last Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus story, so you’ll forgive the interwebz for getting all excited when a couple of purported pictures popped up yesterday.

Alas, it turns out the pics are fakes, but let’s have a wee blether about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus anyway, huh?

The folks at SamMobile initially published the purported Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus pics, but – to be fair – warned: “For now take this information with a pinch of salt as we don’t know if this is real or fake. “ And fake they are.

What you’re looking at is a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 snapshot, modified and sitting in landscape, complete with a hardware button below the display. Sigh.

Still, it served to remind us how excited we are about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus, with proptypes tipped to be rockin’ 10.1 and 11.6in displays.

Other rumoured Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus specs include an Exynos 5 Octa processor, 2GB of RAM, a 9,000mAh battery, and probably – by the time it arrives – Android Key Lime Pie.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus is widely expected to launch at the same time as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, namely at IFA 2013 in Berlin, which opens its doors on September 6.

Just been to my solicitor to change my will. You become my biographer - I can't remember any of the "Jan said" stuff :p

That's what a girl said to me in the pub last night. Didn't recognise me at first.

I'm here all week/month/year.
