The story so far: this year’s Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom will be known not as the Galaxy S5 Zoom, but as the Galaxy K Zoom (er, obviously), and like last year’s model, it’s tipped to feature 10x optical zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy K Zoom launch is set for tomorrow, April 29, and in the meantime, Sammo is seemingly showing off the smartphone’s zoom capabilities.
Singapore’s red dot design museum is the venue for tomorrow’s launch party, and if you point your eyes in the direction of samsungmobile’s Instagram account, you’ll see the venue in all its glory.
Furthermore, tap the Play button and you’ll see the image zoom in on the ‘red dot design museum’ sign from afar with abundant clarity.
Samsung says only: “Meet #TheNextGALAXY. Join us for a live update on April 29 at 11AM SGT.” They’re seven hours ahead of us, so that’ll be… 4am UK time? How bizarre.
Last week, we got a look at the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom in a trio of pictures, one of those seemingly confirming the rumoured 20MP rear camera – a first for Samsung and a step up from the Galaxy S4 Zoom’s 16MP snapper.
Other rumoured Samsung Galaxy K Zoom specs include a 4.8in display with modest 720p resolution, quad-core or Exynos 5 hexa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and KitKat Android 4.4.2.
We'll pen many a word about the Samsung Galaxy K Zoom just as soon as we wake up tomorrow morning.
