Samsung officially registered three new Galaxy names across the Atlantic earlier in the month, namely the Galaxy Thunder, Galaxy Express and Galaxy Accelerate.
Well, good old prolific Sammo has popped into the United States Patent and Trademark Office again this week, and slapped three more names on the counter.
The new chaps are the Samsung Galaxy Grand, Galaxy Premier and Galaxy Next. They sound rather impressive, but all we have to go on at the moment are the names; there are no specs to speak of at this early stage.
However, as Pocketnow observes, the Galaxy Next is actually already available in some markets; it’s what we westerners call the Galaxy Mini.
As for the Galaxy Grand and Galaxy Premier, it’s entirely unclear what they might be. Maybes an alternative name for the Samsung Galaxy S III? Hmmnah, we can’t see Samsung randomly renaming its flagship.
Of course, as is always the case when names are registered, they might never be used at all. Let’s be honest, any of the aforementioned six would be better than Galaxy Fit or Galaxy Gio.
