Samsung reveals Windows Phone Mango chaps: Focus S and Focus Flash

Samsung reveals Windows Phone Mango chaps: Focus S and Focus FlashHTC has already laid its Windows Phone Mango cards on the table with the Titan and Radar, and now Samuel “Sammie” Samsung has played his hand.

The Samsung Focus S and Focus Flash were revealed in an AT&T press release for the Yanks, but presumably we’ll be getting them over here too in some form. The original Samsung Focus was essentially our Samsung Omnia 7.

The Samsung Focus S shares some specs with the Galaxy S II, specifically its 4.3in Super AMOLED display and 8MP rear camera, however the processor is a more modest 1.4GHz single-core affair.

The Samsung Focus Flash doesn’t sound like anything worth getting too excited about. It has the familiar Windows Phone 7 pairing of a 3.7in display and 5MP camera, and again a 1.4GHz single-core processor. Meh. I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Oddly, AT&T neglected to include any press shots of Samsung’s Windows Phone Mango players, so I’ve randomly shoved in a giant picture of the Samsung Omnia 7. Why the hell not?
