The general consensus is that bada – Samsung’s smartphone OS – is pretty freakin’ good, and the South Korean manufacturer has confirmed it’ll release its spanking new bada flagship smartphone next month. Somewhere.
Speaking at a bada developer conference in India, a Samsung exec confirmed that the Wave 3 will start rolling out in October, however he neglected to say where.
According to the exec, Indians will get the Samsung Wave 3 treatment in November. We imagine it'll be us Europeans getting the first taste one month earlier.
The Wave 3 is one of three new bada 2.0 smartphones unveiled by Samsung at the end of last month. The Samsung Wave M and Samsung Wave Y have slightly more modest specs, and presumably won’t be too far behind the Samsung Wave 3.
Samsung describes the Wave 3 as “the perfect device for the style-conscious consumer”. It has a 4in Super AMOLED display, 1.4GHz processor, 720p video recording, a 1500mAh battery and 5MP camera.
More news on pricing and junk as we get it, peeps.
