If you can name all the Samsung tablets currently on the market – heck, even just the ones released this year (Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 pictured, incidentally) – I’ll give you… 20p. Maybe.
Making matters worse (or better, depending on your viewpoint), the South Korean manufacturer is tipped to be working on a further two tablets, both pretty big and with sexy resolutions.
We’re thanking the @evleaks twitter account, with an entirely word-based tweet; no accompanying pictures, I’m afraid.
The first half of the tweet reads: “Samsung SM-P900: 12.2-inch, Exynos 5 octa, 2560x1600, S-pen”. Presumably the presence of the S-pen stylus means it’d be part of the Samsung Galaxy Note family, though the bigger ones have performed significantly less well than the phablet-sized chaps. Previous reports suggested the Note concept had been abandoned on full-sized tablets. Hmm.
The mysterious leaksters add: “P600: 10-inch, Snapdragon 800, also 2560x1600”. That’d be the same size and resolution as the Samsung-built Google Nexus 10, another tablet that proved to be pretty underwhelming.
Still, it’s nice to see Samsung tablets rumoured with decent specs. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 series didn’t exactly get us hot and bothered.
Pretty vague at the moment, but @evleaks is generally quite accurate, so expect to hear more on the Samsung SM-P900 and Samsung P600 in the coming weeks.
