Samsung recently fired out save-the-dates for a supposedly ‘major’ announcement, and immediately everyone thought Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
However, it’s now sounding like IFA at the end of August for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 launch, which makes the larger Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 front-runner for an August 15 unveiling.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 first popped up at Mobile World Congress back in February, with multiple windows and the familiar S Pen and that. It didn’t exactly set the conference on fire, but it was… fine.
Fast-forward to April, and we heard that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 specs, price and release date were all very much up in the air.
Leapfrog to May, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 popped up in Germany, with a quad-core upgrade and a slimmer S Pen. ‘Citing.
More recently, we saw a video-based ad for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1.
Now, a fresh August 15 invite promises that we’ll “Meet the new way”. Here's the interesting bit: the aforementioned ad ended with the slogan “Note, the new way”. Good sleuthing, me.
Yeah, so, stick this on a post-it on your fridge: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 launch date = August 15.
