Which security type is more secure?

Numeric code or swipe? HTC Desire btw.

swipe flummoxes those not used to Android until they actually get to use it. Some say that you can see on the screen where has been swiped allowing someone to try it out and see if they can get in. My screen is so filthy anyway that noone would be able to guess my swipe pattern. I just find it more user friendly to swipe rather than tap in a pin. I haven't read anything related to security on either of the options, so i;d say go for what you prefer to use. it'll still stop the casual 'hacker' from getting in.
