Part deal, part amusing story, CeX is currently offering a small profit if you turn over your shiny new iPhone 5. They’ll buy the 16GB iPhone 5 for £540 (£529 at Apple), the 32GB for £615 (£599), and the 64GB for £715 (£699).

They'll easily be able to make £600+ selling them on, you'd make more than £11 selling a launch day iP5 on eBay.

Besides it's mostly publicity for cex rather than anything else as judging by the hukd they won't have any cash to buy them anyway.

Also, only Apple die hards (who'd never sell their baby for 11 quid profit) and people who intended to sell it on anyway and will make more than 11 quid on eBay etc, will have iPhones on launch day anyway. The rest of the world won't have ordered in the 60 minute window to have launch day delivery.

There are plenty of desperate Apple morons after every iPhone launch, those idiots who queue up all night don't all manage to get an iPhone once the store opens and they need to get their iPhone fix NAO!!!
