eBay does a roaring trade on second-hand mobiles, but you need to be careful what you leave on there when you decide to flog your blower. IT Pro reports that more than half of second-hand phones are sold with important personal data of the original owner still on board.

Who in g*d's name sells a phone WITH sim?
Destroy the sim! And don't just delete the memory - properly wipe and overwrite everything. Connect it to a pc and use Eraser or CCleaner and securely wipe/overwrite!
As to the phone memory, don't just delete things. Do a factory reset and reinstall/update the firmware. Then double check that everything is gone. Oh, and do the factory reset WITHOUT THE SIM INSIDE!
