Anyone ever had service cut off for tethering without the bolt-on?

Anyone ever had service cut off for tethering without the bolt-on, or is that just an urban legend? :p

It depends. Some people do some don't. I know a guy on Three who gets away with it, and another on Three who was cut off.

Can't exactly speak for O2 but i imagine it'd be the same. Could you not move to a tariff with Tethering?

People on HUKD claim they've been cut off before, but I've never experienced it myself, nor has anyone I know ever been cut off
off for doing it.

As this is linked to o2 (according to the logo top right) their site says it's permitted.
But it will come out of allowance so care definitely needed.

Bear in mind the guy might be on an older tariff where Tethering was not allowed. It was only on their newer 2011 plans that tethering became inclusive i think.
