Does Siri work in the UK?
I've heard conflicting stories about Siri and the UK. Does Siri work over here?

Yes, but afaik some features are 'limited' - such as restaurant recommendation in "your area" etc... but otherwise it should work if you can fake an American accent...

what jans trying to say in a long winded way is.
No. Not in the slightest... if you use UK english (how thick is that) it cant understand.. if your one of the 6 billion 700 million who live outside the usa the only way to find local shops or cafes etc... the only is to ask it to find them using google maps... (i wish apple would put that on the box..)
if your accent is tricky say liverpudlian/scottish/welsh/ well most tbf it gets confused...

It understands a southern english accent perfectly well, but is as Jan says limited where specifics for your area are concerned.
A friend of mine asked "where's the nearest starbucks" but it couldn't answer without prompting him to see if he wanted to do a web search.
Skyvi (on of the Android 'clones') on the other hand have me distance and address when asked the same question.
