Sky Movies app finally comes to Android

Sky Movies app finally comes to AndroidGood news for movie fans of an Android persuasion: the Sky Movies app has finally arrived for Google's OS.

Now finally owners of... oh, let's say the Samsung Galaxy S4 (when it arrives) will be able to get the full Sky movie experience just like iPhoniacs have had all this time.

The Sky Movies app for Android will let you check out what's coming up on the bouquet of Sky Movies channels, plus you can find out info on the films being shown and even look up local movie theatre listings in case it's all rubbish.

Where it comes into its own, though, is in being able to set your Sky+ HD box to record, and to stream movies assuming your phone is registered with Sky Go, and of course you're subscribed to the movie channels you want to watch from.

To download the Sky Movies app, head for the Play Store.

Likely following their usual trend and won't work on rooted devices though
