Probably that Sensation XE if you mean new, depends on individual though, still feel that's too large.
Arc S is pretty decent for £180 upgrade at p4u
Nokia 610 ;)

I thought the Arc and the Sensation were pretty much the same size?

Well there's not a lot in it couple of mm here and there but the Arc S feels smaller in the hand. Same with the s2 just looks and feels a bit large.
Sensation xe certainly seems to have a lot going for it spec wise over and above the Arc S*, but lots of dissatisfied owners of the sensation/sxe on the hukd thread.

* the Arc S's ludicrously low internal memory is a worry, lower ram disappointing too, of course the single core and weaker gpu

I wouldn't buy an Arc S, they're based on technology which is over two years old.

Sensation XE and San Diego (if it's unlocked) or Galaxy Nexus (if it dropped to this price already).
However, Sensation XE or Sensation is probably best one.

San Diego remains stubbornly network and boot locked atm, no great sign of that changing

I think the common point of all the phones being recommended here is the Sensation XE for £247 (up to you if you sell the headphones to make it even cheaper). In my opinion, that's the phone to go for :).

Worth a read of some of the thread on hukd though doesn't seem to be a lot of love of it from current/former owners. But then we all like a moan I guess.

Arc, imho, feels chunkier, though.

The Arc feels cheap, plastic and crap; IMHO.

That too....

Try the Defy +. My wife has one and loves it. Nice screen and does everything.

Strangely, I couldn't have put it better myself...
