Which smartphone has the highest definition screen?
Does any smartphone have a higher def display than the iPhone 4's Retina?

The Galaxy Note has the highest resolution screen.

Joint with the Galaxy Nexus.

I think the Note has a 1280x800 screen but the Nexus has a 1280x720 screen.

In which case, the Nexus would be a better display because that's a slimmer aspect ratio and native 720p for films ![]()

LG Nitro - 326 ppi

What's the actual resolution of the Nitro though? The OP asked about resolution, not pixel density. Also the Nitro is only available in the US, this is a total guess bases purely on past experience, but most people on this site seem to be from the UK. Bar Jan, but still he's only across in Ireland.

Usually Retina is referenced in regards to PPI and not resolution. Having bigger resolution does not translate to clarity, higher PPI does.

He/She does mention resolution, not ppi, twice in their question. Is the Nitro actually a good phone? After the 2X I'm somewhat wary of LG haha
?

Yeah I'm with Matty on this one. "Higher def" means more pixels not more dense pixels ![]()
