Best smartphone screen for watching 1080p movies?

What's the best smartphone screen for watching 1080p movies? Or are all the 1080p phones (Sony Xperia Z, HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4) the same for watching movies?

It's unlikely that you will be able to tell the difference in screen between above mentioned phones. There is also Oppo 5 and LG Optimus G Pro with 1080p screen.

You need to look into how and where do you plan watching movies? Xperia Z has too dark screen for outdoor viewing. There are no reviews for One and S4.

Agree with CTPAHHIK, although I haven't used the Xperia z, I used all the other Sony flagships, and their screens have all been relatively dark, and if the viewing angle isn't perfect, they are somewhat dull.... Having said that: I wouldn't say it's that relevant when watching a 5 or 10 minute clip on the go.
Also, considering the size of a phone's screen, and the distance at which you keep it plus the quality of the encoded video, I would argue that 9 out of ten people would most likely not be able to tell if it's the SGS3 or 4, or the Xperia T or Z.... In fact, I'd question the sanity of anyone who transfers full HD videos to a phone with limited storage. Of course, there are scenarios where just popping the full version onto the device is the most convenient way, or when you record 1080p clips with said device....

But seriously, in most situations you won't be able to tell that the screen's 1080p. It's one of those spec sheet items OEMs can bump up in absence of anything truly innovative.

My lady's Galaxy Camera has a 4.8-in screen that isn't 1080p, but FULL HD video shot with the cam looks absolutely stunning on it. It's all relative... If you often watch videos with a magnifying glass, we have a different problem ;)
