Are there any smartphones bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2?

Is the 5.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 2 the biggest device (currently available) that can make mobile calls?

Strictly, the original Galaxy Tab 3G could make calls and send texts, but it's pretty underpowered nowadays and you'd look like a fool using it as a phone.

Nope, None. Unless you go with Matts tablet idea which could theoretically be a phone.

There are a few 6inch smartphones out in China but they don't have the specs of the Galaxy Note 2. Much more underpowered and terrible screen res.

Huawei are making one for the new year though . Believe it's called the Ascend Mate 2
6.1-inch Full HD display (1920x1080), a 1.8GHz Quad-core processor , 2GB of RAM, a 4000 mAh battery and run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Zopo and ZTE are also planning large quad core smartphones for the new year with screens above 5.5inches. I can imagine a few well know manufactures like LG/sasmung and HTC joining in as well/

There is work underway to try and make the 3g nexus 7 make calls, it does do texting already. Think the Sony Tablet might be able to..

Huawei really need to work on their naming or just stick with numbers, improvement on the D1 quad at least...
