Remember how last week, we told you the Sony Xperia P and Xperia U are due out on May 7th? We hope you didn't take us literally. Because, erm.. it won't be.
According to Clove UK - which is often among the first to get such handsets - that date has been pushed back all the way until the end of next month. Don't expect to get your mitts on one until May 28th now.
No reason has been given for the delay, unfortunately, though we can't imagine it's down to heavy demand.
The Xperia U is a replacement for last year's Neo handset as the entry level handset and even though the display is a 3.5-inch WVGA job, it does have that 'reality display' that Sony's really keen on pushing right now, helping your snaps and you vids look extra sharp and vivid when played back.
Meanwhile, the Xperia P is a little further up the chain and bumps that display up to a 4-inch qHD screen.
As for the all important price - the Xperia P (available in black and silver) will set you back £330 sim-free whilst the Xperia U clocks in at £204.
