Sony Ericsson recently revealed its plan for world domination, which essentially amounts to relocating to America and focusing on the Yanks instead of us Europeans, and churning out a ton of Android phones.
We’ve already seen a handful of new phones from Sony Ericsson this year, including the Xperia Arc, Neo, Play and Pro, and most recently the Sony Ericsson W8 Walkman. As if that wasn’t enough, there are two more expected shortly.
A suspected successor to the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini pro has been snapped several times over the past few months. We’re also expecting to see the follow up to the keyboardless Xperia X10 mini.
The former is codenamed Mango and the latter is the, er, Smultron. Sounds a bit like something from Star Trek. Both are expected to rock Gingerbread (Android 2.3), 1GHz processors, 3in displays (give or take a fraction of an inch) and 5MP cameras. The Mango, of course, will have a bonus slide-out QWERTY.
More news once it all becomes official, peeps.
