Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman coming to Three this month

Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman coming to Three this monthThree has updated its coming soon page to show that it’ll offer the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman from September. Er, that’s this month, and there’s only a few days of it left, so... next week some time then.

Sony Ericsson has been quite busy of late. The Live with Walkman brings the manufacturer to a grand total of 163 Android smartphones released this year. Well done, chaps.

The Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman has a 3.2in display with Bravia goodness, 5MP camera with flash, 720p HD video recording, a 1GHz processor, and Gingerbread (Android 2.3) on board for OS duties.

And what makes it a Walkman phone? Well, the dedicated Walkman button for a start. Audio output is enhanced too, with Sony’s xLOUD technology.

Three is keeping quiet about contract options and the like for now, but it won’t be much longer till we find out. Do you fancy a Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman? Let us know below so Jan and our Mobo-regulars can tear you to shreds.

Just kidding.

(Not really)

I joined...to be honest I couldn't tell you when. I first signed in long after I was first using the site (I considered applying for the job Jan has now, put it that way).

I'm signed in using my HUKD username anyway, which I joined several years ago haha :p.

rofl thats pretty good lol i do wonder if my htc hero has the flip to silence feature... i thought that was new the way the sensation has been going on about it lol

matt101101 / MOD  Sep. 24, 2011 at 15:15

That's just a little bit of proof that I have no brand loyalty and I simply stick up for whatever's best, which ATM, is the SGS2 (despite my ripping of it back in April haha :D).

Nah, HTC have been doing flip to silence for years, your Hero probably does have it. Have a search through your menus, see if you can find it.

question becomes will you buy an lg if they surprise everyone and make a good phone ;)

matt101101 / MOD  Sep. 24, 2011 at 15:21

I once owned an LG Cookie...it wasn't a good phone, I barely ever used it, just used my wife (then Girlfriend's), old Sony W890i instead.

As for if LG made a good phone nowadays, yeah, I'd buy one, or a Motorola or even an iPhone if enough changed about them...like they ran Android hahahahaha :D

Treab  Sep. 24, 2011 at 15:24

i remember the one lg i have ever owned... an lg gw520

you could never lock it... if you lock it via the screen if the qwerty even slightly moved it would unlock lol cost me a fortune in mistake calls.

Eugh, it seems LG never managed to make anything even half decent...actually the LG Chocolate wasn't bad, with it's cool red LED buttons.

I've decided to go for it and bid on a Samsung Wave on eBay, it may just become my new toy :p

Treab  Sep. 24, 2011 at 15:38

you need help ;) just think you own 2 phones newer than your wifes ;)

matt101101 / MOD  Sep. 24, 2011 at 15:41

Treab  Sep. 24, 2011 at 15:52

matt101101 / MOD  Sep. 24, 2011 at 15:54

I might lose the auction, I'm not paying over £100, inc. delivery. I'm an eBay pro ;)...if I may say so myself....

Treab  Sep. 24, 2011 at 17:55

'ebay pro' you need to get out more matty my boy... your losing it...

matt101101 / MOD  Sep. 24, 2011 at 17:59

Well eBay pro, sounds better than, "tight as a fishes ar*e ", when it comes to buying stuff ;)

Treab  Sep. 24, 2011 at 18:04

and its not as disgusting...

you skin flint ;) question for you when you upgrade your sgs2 will you sell it on amazon or do something truely shocking and give it to your wife ;)

matt101101 / MOD  Sep. 24, 2011 at 18:11

She'd have no interest in having it, I offered her my Desire, apparently it's "to big and needs charging to often", somehow I feel if they were her main concerns with a Desire...they won't have been helped with an S2 :p

Treab  Sep. 24, 2011 at 18:15

how much did you overclock the desire ;)

matt101101 / MOD  Sep. 24, 2011 at 18:24

1.2ghz, I think. I wasn't that bothered about OCing it, it was never going to be the fastest phone in the world, as it's processor was a 1st gen. 1ghz (I think QUALCOMM are calling them S1 nowadays). Also the Adreno 200 GPU was seriously outdated, so it got pretty crappy quadrant scores, rarely over 2k, and it's Nenamark was awful as well, due to the GPU.

matt101101 / MOD  Sep. 24, 2011 at 18:25

Btw, that's 1.2ghz total, not a 1.2ghz overclock, I think it's fry at a total of 2.2ghz haha :D.
