It's still not official (get a move on!) but here's the most concrete proof we've had so far of the Sony Ericsson Nozomi's existence.
It's obviously a press image though has come through leaked - rather than official - channels. And there are a few things of significance to note here.
Firstly, the Sony Ericsson branding remains. Even though Sony has now acquired Ericsson. This could change by the date of the official announcement though. Also, the physical home, back and menu buttons are still there even though the Nozomi is expected to run Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box (remember, ICS does not need physical buttons.)
The picture obviously doesn't allude to internal components but the general consensus is that Sony Ericsson has finally joined the dual-core brigade with a 1.5GHz offering, Adreno 220 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 12MP camera on the back.
The device is expected to launch at MWC in Barcelona early next year. Prepare for numerous other leaks before that.
