Sony Ericsson reveals txt pro and Mix Walkman feature phones

Sony Ericsson reveals txt pro and Mix Walkman feature phonesFeature phones – remember them? We're pretty sure Sony Ericsson does, as it's made plenty of them over the years.

And it's clearly not stopping now, either – despite all the talk about lining up its efforts almost exclusively behind smartphones. It's just unveiled two new faces to its feature phone line-up via Facebook that are set to launch over the next few months, and neatly tie together a couple of other SE rumours we've been talking about lately.

The new handsets have been revealed as part of a Facebook competition, and are entitled the Txt Pro and Mix Walkman. The promo on the Sony Ericsson Facebook page doesn't reveal much more, but both feature the 'Four Corners' Sony Ericsson UI made familiar by the Xperia Mini handsets – even though neither of these phones have Android itself on board.

That aside, Sony Ericsson isn't giving anything away in terms of specs, but the Xperia Blog reckons the Txt Pro is clearly the CK15i we saw leaked images of last week.

As for the Mix Walkman, nothing much can be said aside from the fact that it features a full touch interface probably just the other side of 3in in size from the looks of things. But the interesting thing is the name itself, as it confirms Sony Ericsson is indeed pushing ahead with its steady reprise of the Walkman name from its feature phone past.
