Sony will be one of dozens of manufacturers in attendance at CES in Las Vegas next month, and Ubergizmo reports that new Sony Ericsson Xperia handsets will be on display.
The accompanying pic of Sony’s CES invite doesn’t specifically mention anything about Sony Ericsson or Xperia, so we’re assuming someone has been whispering in Ubergizmo’s ear.
One distinct possibility is Sony Ericsson’s first dual-core smartphone, which has been referred to as both Nozomi and the Xperia Arc HD. It’s said to rock 1.5GHz of dual-core Snapdragon goodness, with a 4.3in display and 1GB of RAM.
Or how about the Sony (Ericsson) Nyphon? Phil scribbled a bit about it yesterday, and the Nyphon could very well be Sony’s first post-Ericsson smartphone.
There’s also the vague possibility of a new tablet, following on the heels of the fairly unique Sony Tablet S (the magazine-style one) and Sony Tablet P (the dual-screen one).
Sony Ericsson is already into double figures with its Android output this year (Xperia Arc, Arc S, Play, Neo, Pro, Ray, Active, mini, mini pro, Live with Walkman…), and they just keep coming.
