Cheaper at:

£179.00 there, with stock arriving on October 10th, so you have to wait an extra few days but you save yourself nearly 20 quid.

Now this is becoming very tempting. I might be getting one for games.

Same, I have previously said £130 is my price point, but I might go up to £150 and just use it for emulators. Price will fall even more when the PS Vita comes out though, worth the wait for a crazy low price?

Btw does anyone know what the development community is like for the Xperia Play?

It depends on how badly you want to play games. I would use it as a phone too.
Questions is there are good ROMs to replace stock? I don't like CM7 that much. And I like my Desire HD only because of Sense and incredible stability that I do not observe with other phones. With latest official 2.3.5 ported into Revolution ROM - this is how it was supposed to be shipped. HTC would have made a fortune on it.
