Sony has a trio of new mobile devices lined up to debut at its pre-IFA 2014 launch event on 3 September: a pair of smartphones and a tablet.
And it's just put out a minute-long teaser video giving us a glimpse of all three of its incoming stars in one shot – literally.
The blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot shows the three devices in silhouette – or a render of them anyway – about 41 seconds or so into the ad, followed by the date 3 September 2014, which is next Wednesday – two days before IFA 2014 officially begins.
The rest of the minute is taken up with exactly what you'd expect from a teaser video that doesn't actually have any substance to talk about.
It's the usual aspirational blend of multi-cultural folk from all walks of life going about their daily business, which seems to always involve a lot of colour, movement and smiling. These are obviously the people Sony's new gear is aimed at.
So what are the three devices Sony has in the pipelines? Well the larger smartphone is surely the flagship Sony Xperia Z3, which is likely to boast a 5.2in full HD display, Snapdragon 801 processor and highly specced 20.7MP camera.
The smaller of the two phones is probably the Xperia Z3 Compact, which is expected to come with a smaller 4.6in display but otherwise similar specs to its big brother.
And the tablet is likely to be the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, also boasting a similar spec but with an 8in full HD screen.
