Just last week Sony unveiled its latest addition to the Xperia line, the low-end Xperia M.
At the time the only info we had on price or availability was that it'll be touching down sometime in Q3, but now we can shed a bit more light on this entry-level battler.
It's not Sony itself dishing up the details, so we can't verify their accuracy, but let's not worry about facts getting in the way of a good story for the time being.
According to Carphone Warehouse, the multi-hued Xperia M – which will be available in black, white, purple and yellow – will arrive during the month of August. It doesn't say specifically when in August, but that it least narrows things down a little.
For word on price, meanwhile, we jet over to Handtec, where a reasonably affordable price tag of £227.99 is listed.
For that, you'll be getting a 4in display running at 854 x 480, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a 5MP Exmor RS-based camera, plus NFC.
You want be able to get your 4G on, though, and the limited 4GB of internal space has already drawn a grumble or two from the Mobot faithful in the Comments to last week's piece.
So what about the price, then? Will you be getting your money's worth at £227.99, even accounting for the fact that you'll have to fork out for a microSD card pretty much right out of the box?
