Another day, another Android smartphone from Sony. How many this year? Two hundred? Yeah, that sounds about right.
We’ve been jawing about the relatively low-end Sony Xperia J (or ST26i) for some time, and now it’s received the hands-on treatment ahead of release.
Said hands belong to the bearded gentlemen of Mobile Review (scribbled in Russian), and the article is every bit as thorough as you’d expect.
Essentially, in terms of Sony Xperia J specs, you’re looking at a 4in display (480 x 854), 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and a 5MP rear camera with flash.
For operating systems duties, the Sony Xperia J assigns a “cut down” version of Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0).
Nothing to get too excited about then. Mobile Review reckons the Sony Xperia J’s standout feature is its 1,700mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia J is expected to weigh in at €150-160 (circa £125). You want one, don’t you?
