The first few Sony-only handsets to emerge since the Sony Ericsson buyout have been tasty enough, but it looks like the Xperia range will soon be getting a bit of seasoning thanks to the Sony Xperia Pepper.
It's not entirely a bolt from the blue, but thanks to an official pic and a healthy dose of specs we can now flesh out the details of a handset first mentioned in a leaked Sony 2012 roadmap.
From the looks of things, the Pepper (which will almost certainly be called something else when it launches) is a likely successor to the mid-range Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo.
We're told to expect a 3.7in 480 x 854 display, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording, NFC and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Sony roadmap hinted that the Pepper would be arriving in April, which you probably don't reminding is next month.
