Does the Sony Xperia Z have a replaceable battery?

Does the Sony Xperia Z have a replaceable battery? Like if the battery gets worn out can you replace it with a new one?

my xperia z has got some problems...i sent it to customer care they said battery is of no use and must change....
i paid the money but i am not sure wheather they changed it or not!
what can i do to be sure?

How old is your Xperia Z? How can it be out of warranty? Why did you have to pay for a new battery?
And how are you "not sure weather they changed it"???? Is your phone working or not?

All phones have replaceable batteries. What you mean is "user removable" ***, i.e. open back, take out old, insert new. Nope. To change the Xperia Z's battery it needs to be taken to a repair shop or service center. Or you need to get into the whole DIY thing.

*** didn't mean to sound pedantic. But I know a couple of folks who got all confused recently by the debate about sealed-in batteries. They thought those phones' batteries couldn't ever be fixed/changed at all... They can, but it takes special tools and some skills.
