Expansys has had the former available to pre-order for a few weeks, and now we’re getting an idea of Sony Xperia SP contract prices courtesy of Phones4u.
Diving straight in, Phones4u's 'Most Popular' Sony Xperia SP tariffs start at £25PM, with Vodafone offering 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB data on a 24-month contract. That’s £600 total.
Incidentally, you can currently grab the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 for the same price and with a higher allowance on Three (just saying).
If price is no object, you might fancy picking up the Sony Xperia SP on EE, which is offering unlimited minutes and texts alongside 8GB data for £56PM. That’s £1,344 over two years. Cripes.
The first 200 orders will land a free stereo Bluetooth headset, and the Sony Xperia SP release date is listed as May 3 (two weeks from Friday).
Expansys, meanwhile, neglects to mention a release date, but will sell you the Sony Xperia SP SIM free for £339.99.
Sony Xperia SP specs include a 4.6in 720p display (319 PPI), dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 2,370mAh battery, Jelly Bean (Android 4.1), and 8GB internal storage – augmentable via microSD. Not too shabby.
