If you were hoping to get your hands on the spanking new Sony Xperia Z this month (wow, it’s February), you’re in luck. Well, just.
The Sony Xperia Z’s UK release date has seemingly been nailed down by Three Mobile, which is going with February 28.
Sony unveiled the Xperia Z, its new flagship, at CES 2013 last month, and the release date was immediately touted as late February/early March. Seems that was bang on the proverbial money.
Speaking of money, the Sony Xperia Z on Three will set you back £449.99 on PAYG. Well, it’s cheaper than the BlackBerry Z10, I guess.
Alternatively, there are a couple of contract options, with Ultimate Internet 500 offering 500 minutes, 5,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data. It’s £34PM over 24 months, with an up-front cost of £69 (£885).
Meanwhile, The One Plan includes 2,000 minutes, an additional 5,000 Three-to-Three minutes, 5,000 texts, and all-you-can-eat data. It comes in at £36PM over 24 months, again with an up-front cost of £69 (£933).
An extra 1,500 minutes for £2PM? That’s not too bad, eh?
Oh, in addition, if you’re one of the first 1,000 to pre-order the Sony Xperia Z at Three, you’ll get a free pair of High Definition Sony MDR-1R headphones worth £299 to sell on Ebay. Can’t argue with that.
