Sony Xperia Z1 Compact lost phone tracking

Does the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact have lost phone tracking by default or do I need to buy/download something?

Open 'Google Settings' app, Android Device Manager, 'Remotely locate this device' is enabled by default. Option to Wipe the phone has to be enabled if you want that option.
Then you can find it from within the Play Store by clicking the gear icon and selecting Android Device Manager.
Or if you have another Android Device you can use this app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.adm

It is built into Android, I can't remember if it needs setting up pre-loss though.
