We’ve had so many Sony Xperia Z1 (nee Xperia i1, codename Honami) leaks to date, that you really have to wonder if there’s any point in “unveiling” the thing. It’s pretty much as unveiled as you can get at this stage.
Still, the leaks are coming thick and fast, and again we’re seeing the Sony Xperia Z1 in black, white and purple.
The latest Sony Xperia Z1 press shot comes via Chinese-language site digi-wo, though I’m slightly confused about that September 5 date, the launch being set for September 4. Probably.

The Sony Xperia Z1 is the third high-end launch from the Japanese manufacturer this year. The Sony Xperia Z launched in January this year, and was later joined by the monstrous 6.4in Sony Xperia Z Ultra.
The headline feature on the Sony Xperia Z1 is its 20.7MP camera, which has also been confirmed in pics.
Other Sony Xperia Z1 specs are tipped to include a 5in display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, and it’s noticeably bigger than the Sony Xperia Z, possibly on account of the gigantor battery.
