Spotify or iTunes Radio?

Do you think there's any point getting Spotify if the iPhone is going to get iTunes Radio soon?

Potato, po tah to....
You probably do not need both.
I honestly know little about Spotify. And we do not yet know the exact details of when and at what cost iTunes Radio will launch in the UK.

I tried Spotify once, had a 6 month premium thingy with Virgin Media, to be honest I didn't get what it was all about. This was a few years ago so it may have changed since then, but I just found it a mess and there was no store front as such to help you choose music or discover new things, you had to search for exactly what you wanted to play. As I say it was a few years ago and it may have improved since then, but I'm looking forward to seeing what iTunes Radio has to offer. I don't watch TV or listen to radio and find it difficult to discover new music, the stuff that's about today is mostly rubbish in my opinion, but each to their own.

As I understand it iTunes Radio will be free with ads, the ads can be removed if you subscribe to iTunes Match which is £21.99 a year I think.
