How much storage does a gmail account have?

My phone keeps reminding me that I have hundreds of unread emails in my gmail inbox! How much storage does gmail have? Could it handle thousands of emails? Tens of thousands?

https://www.google.com/settings/storage?hl=en

15GB Spread across GMail, Drive & G+ Photos.

I have just short of 15,000 emails which is currently using 2.4GB of my 15GB

Anything created in Docs doesn't count toward storage use, same for photos smaller than 2048x2048. So if you only use Drive for Docs & set G+ to resize your photos and used all 15GB for Gmail then you'd be looking around 90,000-100,000 emails but it depends on how many emails you send/receive with sizeable attachments.

*My account will be 10 Years old in November and it's only 16% of my space.

Enough space so that Google can scan and collect as much data about your life as possible lol
