Which one is the storage - RAM or ROM?

Confused about phone storage LOL!

Neither, ROM is read only memory, where the operating system and kernel are stored. RAM is random access memory. It's temporary, volatile memory, it's where running application data is stored, RAM is wiped everything the phone is turned off or when you use a task killer, the apps that are closed are cleared from the RAM. The user accessible on board memory is just called built in flash memory, that's where you store apps, music, videos and pictures etc.
