Strange that Apple hasn't launched anything this year?

Is it not strange that Apple hasn't announced anything this year? It's oddly quiet without them :p

Not really, it's quite nice having less hysterical tech review sites praising the Apple gods and generally less over-hyped bullsh*t floating around the internet. No doubt there'll be plenty of both of those come iPhone 5S time...

Beside that, the only thing Apple have usually announced by this time in a calendar year is a new iPad, which they launched at the end of last year instead so all their latest products had the lightning connector ASAP. Because, well, MicroUSB is obviously way too mainstream for a company as cool and original as Apple.

You mean the 5 million earthcrust-straining blogposts about the iWatch mirage aren't enough?
Or Donald Trump threatening hellfire if Apple do not launch a phablet?! I'm with matt - no rumour is bliss.

I did say "less" not "no" ;).

I think normal people care less about anything that isn't the iPhone, too. It's pretty obvious that iPhone rumours are only posted for the traffic they pull in, which means people who don't normally read tech rumours must be boosting the numbers.
