Do you have to use the stylus with the Samsung Galaxy Note?

This might be a silly question! But can you simply use your finger with the Samsung Galaxy Note?

Your finger works just fine, same as any other modern smartphone. The stylus is just another option and useful for some finer detail applications (such as Draw Something).

True. Not sure if Sammy updated any of the supporting software, but when I had the Note, I used the stylus maybe 5 times. For quick text entry it was too fiddly, and the handwriting recognition takes some patience.
Good for drawing (though slightly laggy - considering the power of the Note); and I'm sure
they will improve the software and come up with some more useful apps (can see potential for, e.g., some good photo editing... the pen to stamp and clone etc...)
