Can I swap numbers between networks?

If I have two contracts, can I effectively swap the numbers on the contracts and keep everything else the same?

i just got a galaxy s 2 and i want the number from my orange contract to my new o2 galaxy s 2...

is it actually possible?

Yeah it's complicated. I have one contract that is a really good deal but the number is not nice. And the other contract isn't as good a deal, but has a really good number that I want to keep and use.

If I get a PAC code from each, will that work!

I tried to do this but was told when i use the PAC code it cancels the contract and the only option was to pay the remaining months line rental. That was with Three

I have the same situation but with pay as you go SIMS, can this be done with pay as go go SIMS

You should be able to just port both numbers. 1 from a to b, the other from b to a...
