Nokia has responded to a twitter message demanding Symbian Anna, confirming that it’ll be available “before the end of August”.
Twitter user belon1986, clearly eager for Symbian Anna beaver, begged: “Please release the Symbian Anna to us as soon as possible...the waiting is just killing our patient....PLS!”
The Finns first lifted the lid on Symbian Anna back in April. One of the key features is a split-screen portrait QWERTY keyboard, and an improved browser which Nokia claims is three times faster.
The Nokia E6 and X7 were announced at the same time, and of course have already begun shipping with the sultry temptress, Anna, on board.
So, only seven-or-so weeks before Nokia N8, C7, C6-01 and E7 owners get their hands on Symbian Anna? That’s not too long. Mind you, Nokia’s tweet says it “aims” to have it out by the end of August, so there’s always the chance it’ll slip back. I’m just saying…
