No, not if you wish to use mobile data, O2 have the worst 3G data coverage in the UK. Otherwise, they're okay.

They aren't bad tbh, longest I've had a phone number for years, still tempted to go to 3's £15/month payasyougo though.

As long as you get O2 3G in your area, they tend to be good value for money. My generalised answer was due to the generalised question. Whether any network is good or bad, depends on the signal in places you often visit.

Check O2 coverage, tesco use them, it was lightening quick when I was with them. Just don't use Vodafone, they are truly dreadful.
