Tesco has topped a Which? survey of pay monthly and SIM only mobile operators. The operators were scored based on customer service, range of handsets, cost, cost of use while abroad, and accuracy & clarity of bills.
The supermarket giant managed an overall score of 74%. Meanwhile, there’s not much to separate O2, T-Mobile, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone, who sit on 61, 59, 58 and 57% respectively.
Firmly at the bottom of the table, Orange and Three scored a rather pathetic 53 and 49%. Three was worst overall for customer service.
In PAYG world, Asda takes the gold medal, pushing Tesco and O2 into second and third place. Three manages a more respectable fourth (out of eight), while T-Mobile falls to last place.
