How do I text the UK from the US?
I'm going on holiday to New York. Do I have to edit peoples number's before texting back home?

011 to dial out from USA, then 44 for UK, then the UK-number MINUS the first zero

edit the phone number to start +44 on your mobile phone, and it'll work.
It'll cost a lot, around 50p per text. Some networks are cheaper to send an MMS than a text message
