T-Mobile relaunches U-Fix as You Fix, combines contract with PAYG

T-Mobile relaunches U-Fix as You Fix, combines contract with PAYGT-Mobile has relaunched its U-Fix thingy as You Fix. Yeah, U-Fix was a little embarrassing.

You Fix essentially combines elements of pay monthly contracts with pay as you go, and is predominantly aimed at stopping blabbermouth text-happy teenagers from running up insane bills.

With You Fix, users get a monthly allowance of minutes and texts, and the choice of a flexible booster. The boosters include Unlimited Texts, but we figure the Internet one will be pretty popular.

Anyway, the big difference with You Fix is: when your monthly allowance runs dry, it’s game over. You have to throw on some credit to make calls and/or send texts.

There are three 12-month options. Behold:

  • £15.50 per month / 75 minutes / 75 texts
  • £20.50 per month / 100 minutes / 100 texts
  • £26 per month / 300 minutes / 300 texts

Tim Dowling, Vice President of T-Mobile Propositions, says: “We are proud to be able to offer customers great value for money on our existing pay monthly and pay as you go plans – and now we can offer those customers who want complete spend control the best of both worlds in one plan. With You Fix, you can get great deals on phones, and whatever happens, there will be no surprise bills at the end of the month.”

Is there a reason why it's so pricey? Three's £15 All-in-one offers way more than this does.
