To turn off facebook notifications, open your facebook app and press the menu key. Select Options and uncheck BlackBerry Calendar application, BlackBerry Messages application, BlackBerry Contacts application, Facebook notifications and make sure the button under that says Turn On Email Notifications. Once done, press your menu key again and select Save.
I hope that helps you. :)

In the Facebook app's settings? Sorry, i no longer have my 9900, and I never used FB!
Have you tried to search "Notifications" on the homescreen? Your Bold has Universal Search... One result should lead you on the right path.
